Implementation Team Update, September 15

Highlights from today's Implementation Team meeting:

SUMMON 2.0 IMPLEMENTATION
The Implementation Team is making headway on the duplicates issue and is testing a possible solution in UST's sandbox this month. 

FILMS ON DEMAND RECORDS IN SUMMON
The Implementation Team is working with ProQuest to encourage Films On Demand and other vendors to allow inclusion of their records in the KnowledgeBase.

INTOTA ASSESSMENT
ProQuest is currently testing Augsburg's and Bethel's Millennium data in Intota Assessment.

CLIC Libraries Represented at MLA Conference in October

Are you registered for the Minnesota Library Association’s annual conference in Mankato? We are proud to see staff from CLIC member libraries on the program schedule!

Rebecca Ganzel, Cataloging/Metadata Librarian, Lindell Library, Augsburg College, is one of the presenters for “Tech Services Time Travel,” on Wednesday, October 8, 3:45-4:45pm.

LeAnn Suchy, St. Catherine University, is one of the presenters for “MILE and ALA Emerging Leaders: Why Leadership Programs Matter,” on Thursday, October 9, 8:00-9:00am. In additionLeAnn will present at "Appy Hour Breakfast" at 7:00am on Thursday - her third year in a row for this event!

Amy Mars, Information Literacy & Outreach Librarian, St. Catherine University, and Alexis Logsdon, Research and Instruction Librarian, Macalester College, are presenting “The rocky path to full employment: Offroading your way to the job of your dreams,” Thursday, October 9, 9:15-10:15am.

Deborah A. Torres, Assistant to the Associate Dean/Assistant Program Director, is one of the presenters for “Gearing up for MILE 2015: MLA Institute for Leadership Excellence,” Wednesday, October 8, 1:30-2:30pm.

Dr. Anthony Molaro, Assistant Professor, is presenting “Customer Service is Dead: Long Live the Customer Experience,” on Wednesday, October 8, 3:45-4:45pm.

David Lesniaski, Associate Professor, is presenting “Visualizing RDA,” on Thursday, October 9, 9:15-10:15am.
