Register Now for Onsite Summon Training

CLIC is hosting onsite sessions of “Summon Web-Scale Discovery for CLIC” in April. Kevin Lane-Cummings, ProQuest Senior Training and Consulting Partner, will conduct the training sessions focusing on the public side of Summon.

“Summon Web-Scale Discovery for CLIC” will be repeated at four locations:
Monday, April 7, 1pm-3pm, Augsburg College, Room: Oren Gateway 100
Tuesday, April 8, 9am-11am, University of Northwestern-St. Paul, Room BG205
Tuesday, April 8, 1pm-3pm, St. Catherine University, Room: CDC20
Wednesday, April 9, 9am-11am, Hamline University, Room: Anderson Center 305

Summon Training Webinars Scheduled

Summon training for CLIC libraries will begin with three webinars.  Please mark your calendars for February 24, March 12, and March 24. Log-in information will be posted on clic-announce and is also available from your Implementation Team representative. All three sessions will be recorded for later viewing.

Monday, February 24, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. CST, "CLIC: 360 Core for Discovery Services"

Wednesday, March 12, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. CST, "CLIC: Data Optimization for Discovery Services"

Monday, March 24, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. CST, "CLIC: Summon Administration Console"

Following the webinars, CLIC will host onsite training at four sites during April 7-8-9. Further details will be announced later this month.

Implementation Team Hosts Kick-Off Event at UST

Despite the record-breaking cold weather, staff from CLIC member libraries flocked to UST's Anderson Center today to attend the Implementation Kick-Off Event to celebrate the beginning of our migration to ProQuest Intota.

Jane Burke, Jed Gilmore, and Sharai Perkes of ProQuest presented at the program, together with members of the Implementation Team, Jennifer DeJonghe of Metro State, and UST staff Jane Shriver, Carolyn DeLuca, and Ben Durrant.
